The Effect of Switching Leagues on Pitchers

Baseball is chock full of debatable topics. Arguments go back and forth over who was the best hitter of all time, the best left handed pitcher or whether steroids made baseball better. The list of questions could potentially go on and on forever. For today, let’s talk about pitchers. More specificially, does a pitcher gain or [...]

Brady's Bunch Getting Excited

Brady's Bunch Getting Excited

This past week something happened that stopped me in my tracks when I heard it.  It was news so amazing and outstanding that I had to double check to make sure that it was not a joke from the Onion Sports Network.  It in fact was true, our very own “Golden Boy” was back on [...]

NHL Playoffs Round 2

And the Band Plays On After finally finishing what seemed like a never ending first round the NHL is ready for the semifinal round, or round 2. After predicting the entire playoffs it seems that my picks were not too bad for the first round, getting 5 of the 8 2nd round teams correct.  There’s no [...]

Bruins Sweep Habs

The Boston Bruins have just won their first playoff series in 10 years with a sweep of the Montreal Canadiens in the first round, even though my prediction was the B’s in six games.  It was a well played series for the Bruins and it showed just how tough they play their hockey.  The goal differential [...]

Nostradamus eat your heart out The road to the Finals will not be easy, no tournament ever is. The Bruins have the top seed in the Eastern Conference and look to be the favorites to make it to the Stanley Cup Finals. Now that puts a huge target on their backs and they will have [...]

42 Observations from Anaheim

42 Observations from Anaheim

I attended one of the Red Sox-Angels games this past weekend in Anaheim, CA. Here are 42 observations I made at the game in Anaheim. They have a parking lot(unlike Fenway). There are two giant red helmets that mark the front of the stadium(kinda dumb looking I think). There are lots of food places inside. [...]

The Sox Are Back!

Spring is my favorite time of the year. Not only is the weather taking a turn for the better (in New England at least, it’s always nice for me in San Diego) but baseball is also starting back up and that is always good news. Unwavering Passion Since I’ve been living in California I have been [...]

Denver Broncos Trade Disgruntled Jay Cutler

Jay Cutler I’d like you to meet the door, don’t let it hit you on the way out. This situation involving Jay Cutler and the Denver Broncos is finally over. The Broncos announced that they’ve traded their starting quarterback of the past two seasons. There are multiple teams out there in the NFL in need [...]
