April 13-20 marked the opening week of my 2009 fantasy baseball league on Yahoo! Fantasy Sports. I entered Yahoo Public 308387 and pre-ranked my players for an auto-draft. I am a much bigger fan of the live draft. Due to time constraints with work and what not, I settled for entering a league and showing you that my style wins championships.

Week 2 landed me in a tie for third place (1 game back of first) with a 7-3-0 win over Donkey Tacos. This week I’m facing bronxbombers who I can’t wait to beat simply because he’s a Yankee fan. I’ll keep you posted with the leagues ongoings and also be giving you more tips and hot pick ups throughout the season. When I see some big moves that could play well in your favor for your league, you’ll know about it.
Well for one, I suggest dropping Jed Lowrie….you know since he had wrist surgery and all. Second it’s hard to suggest players without knowing the free agents available and all that. It’s a good looking group though.
I dropped Jed after I found out surgery was a possibility and picked up Kosuke Fukudome. Once Dice-K landed on the DL I picked up Kevin Millwood for the time being as well.
