Merry Christmas to all of you and your families from Sports Fan Four. We wanted to thank all the readers who stop by on a regular basis as well as those who seem to find us along the way. We hope that you have a great holiday and that all your family stay healthy and happy.
Celtics v. Magic
The Boston Celtics face off against the team that beat them in the playoffs last year as the Celtics travel to Orlando to face Dwight Howard and the Magic. The 22-5 Celtics put their Eastern Conference best win percentage against the 22-7 Magic.
Paul Pierce is out with a knee injury and won't be playing on Christmas, but Boston should still have a strong line up going into the game. I also hope that Ray Allen isn't effected by the false tweet from @sugarray20. He then went on to explain what really happened on his real twitter account, @greenRAYn20. Hopefully nothing becomes too dramatic and the C's can come out on top against Orlando and continue on their winning ways.
All The Red Sox Want For Christmas Isn't Bay
Although I would love for Jason Bay to remain in Boston with his numbers and fan appeal, sources have told ESPN Boston that it doesn't seem as if Bay will sign with the Red Sox again. Jason Bay had some great numbers for a hitter last season and with the Red Sox preaching that we need bats, seeing him leave the team will be a heart breaker. He's been a free agent long enough now that if someone were going to offer him the contract that he wanted, it would have happened by now. Maybe we'll get lucky and he'll re-sign with the team for a lesser deal, being in the Christmas spirit and all.
Again, enjoy your holiday, I hope you all have a great time. I'll be at work seeing the little kiddos faces light up for their Christmas as well, hopefully I can get an hour or two in with my family before then.
Thanks to xcode for the Merry Christmas picture.
Feliz Navidad me amigo.. May you get Bay for your XMas,
Thanks Jim, merry christmas to you too. Tough loss to Matt last week, good luck in the 3rd place game.
I hope you had a WONDERFUL Christmas! And keep the faith – I think JBay will be back!
