If I haven't expressed enough how much I love Brett Favre, I can always say it again, I love Brett Favre. This past off-season, the ultimate quarterback took his normal stance of not taking a stance at all about whether or not he would be playing this season. In the end, Brett ended up in Minnesota at the end of pre-season training camp and took over the starting job after both Sage Rosenfels and Tavaris Jackson were battling it out. Shortly after he was named the starting quarterback, Favre was also named team captain, awesome. The Vikings are 3-0 and this Monday night they are going to take on the Green Bay Packers at the Metrodome. Excitement is rising and I can't wait.

Brett Favre has beaten 31 of the 32 NFL teams and the Green Bay Packers are the only team Favre has yet to beat. There was a report that Brett Favre may not play against the Packers and was limited in practice this week. Anyone that's been around long enough to see Brett play against injuries, knows that he won't be missing this game unless he can't stand up. The ironman isn't going to sit this one out.

Brett Favre has come into Minnesota and proclaimed to be the face of the franchise in a matter of week. Favre has shown that he can manage a game as well as still pull out some of that magic in the final minutes to win the game. Get prepared for this weekend, it's going to be huge when Favre and the Vikings beat the Packers at home and start the season 4-0. Just a bump in the road on their way to the playoffs.
