Let’s start by putting to rest all the hypocrites about this subject. Only three years ago the masses were one tug away from letting go in their pants over the thoughts of Terrell Owens and Chad Johnson (yes, his name is Chad Johnson) playing on the same team. Anyone of those same people that want to now get all huffy-puffy about it and say that they can’t co-exist, there’ll be too much drama and they won’t win need to double check themselves and get their story straight.
Too Much For TV
Terrell Owens and Chad Johnson are going to be the new wave of the NFL. This is going to be the Wade, LeBron, Bosh of the NFL. Both of these wide receivers have their own reality shows on VH1, did they not have the opportunity to meet one another and get to know each other better. C’Mon. Ocho Stinko went to the Bengals and said, “Yo, we need to sign my boy B.O.”. And then it shall be done. Carson Palmer is going to be looking for a bed at McLean Hospital before it’s all said and done.
I think they’re going to yuk it up and that Chad Johnson is a far better player than Terrell Owens, only that Owens has the ability to cry like a baby more/better when he’s not getting the ball enough (to his standards). That better not be a problem to a primary receiver that ended last season with 55 catches and 5 TD’s. The only way this is going to work is if Owens realizes that it’s Chad’s team and he’s going to be a possession receiver, a decoy route runner and a way to open the field and improve the running game.
Let’s see if Owens is another professional athlete who had the epiphany, “I just want to win one before I retire and get forgotten for my skills and remembered for being a d-bag”. It’s going to be a fun season to watch with all the hype and story lines created around this, so be prepared.
Thanks to Keith Allison for the photo of Chad Johnson.
Hope Carson Palmer has fun leading this circus in Cinci. I wish him nothing but luck, because he’s gonna need it!

I don’t think there will be (as much) drama as everyone anticipates. I do however think that TO won’t be productive, also causing Chad’s numbers to drop which will lead to some in house issues.
