Thank you for the insight Jason. I’m glad you have an open mind to see that Vick doesn’t necessarily have to come back as a quarterback in the NFL. Much like we both agreed on, Vick can be a utility player and could flourish in New England with such a great coaching staff.

As for the Kurt Warner part of it, I disagree. I feel Kurt has at least three very good years ahead of him if Wiz doesn’t try to over exert him and try to open up the offense too much. Getting a solid running game while utilizing accurate short passes and having the ability to go deep on both sides of the field at any time with Fitzgerald and Boldin assures that Warner will do great things barring injury and fatigue.

Alright I know I’m late commenting on this subject but check it out. First of all, Vick can still be an elite quarterback but time is against him so yes, he might have to play another position. second, when you analyze his career, he has never had a good coaching staff i.e. Jim Mora, that Idiot thought he was coaching the Harlem Globetrotters just because he had Vick and let Vick dictate what he wanted to do instead of being the dictator like most good coached do (so that whole coach killer comment by Mora’s dad is false cause Mora thought Vick would do all the work for him {& earn him all the glory} by designing all these razzle dazzle ass plays that alienated the rest of the team). Third, If Vick did pop up in Bean town he would finally have the coaching staff he should have had from the jump, he may not be a QB in N.E. but that staff there is smart enough to really utilize his skills away from the snap. Lastly, if you don’t want him in N.E. I would loooove to have him on my Cardinals team in AZ cause Kurt Wanner is Running out of gas in the near future, Matt Leinard is an absolute bust that would rather be that poser rockin the “TAP OUT” t-shirt everyday and Wizenhunt can get him ready like he should be (and the weather is nice!!!). peace ya’ll!!!

I’m not saying we lost because Brady didn’t throw to Welker, Chuck. I’m just saying we lost, therefore meaning the Patriots are not already “good enough” and do need pieces to complete the puzzle for another super bowl win.

Got to go with Josh here. Vick wasn’t exactly an elite QB in his prime and now he’s got two years of rust to boot. He’ll be a good utility player for someone, but he’s not starting anywhere.

You can say the same thing about nearly everything in the NFL. Heck, most of the plays and schemes have been around for decades, they just get forgotten, then some coach comes along, pulls them back out and the league adapts and the scheme gets buried again. Circle of life,

No, but you don’t need the game film to see that on most plays Welker had 3-4 yards of open space around him. For the NFL, 3-4 yards = wide open. Sure he might’ve gotten buried after making the catch, but key is he likely would’ve made the catch first. It’s the Super Bowl, ask Welker and I’m sure he’d respond that he wouldn’t mind taking a few shots if it meant winning the game.

Brady was hesitant the whole game, the Giants D picked up on it and got after him. Without the screens and quick passes, the D ate them up.

“All I’m saying is that whoever signs this guy will have to be ready for the goddamn media circus that comes with him and the doggie demonstrations that come with him.”

We’re talking about the same NFL here? The No Fun League? I highly doubt any team/the league would allow too much of a ruckus. Sure opposing fans will have signs and boo him, but honestly don’t think it’s that much of a distraction. At the end of the day, if he produces and stays out of trouble that team’s fans will stand by him.
