Atlanta -4 v. Miami - Miami may have the Wildcat Offense, but Atlanta has a solid sophomore quarterback in Matt Ryan and a top three wide receiver in the league, not to mention, they also have Michael Turner in the backfield. I don't care how many formations and sets you can run on offense, a basic strong offensive attack is going to tear apart the Dolphin defense.
Baltimore -7 v. Kansas City - Baltimore has one of, if not, the best defense in the NFL to date. If you can't score, you can't win, enough said.
Carolina +3 v. Philadelphia - Carolina has a two headed beast in the backfield in DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart (if healthy) and Philadelphia is suffering from Michael Vick syndrome as Donovan McNabb gets more and more frustrated daily. The Eagles won't be able to play at an intense level with their minds wandering.
Cincinnati -5 v. Denver - I still have love for Josh McDaniels, but his team is falling apart day by day. The Broncos aren't ready to open the season yet, especially without a solid or even mediocre starting quarterback.
Minnesota -4 v. Cleveland - I love Brett Favre. They also have Adrien Peterson. Cleveland stinks too and I hate Mangini.

NY Jets +4 v. Houston - The Jets are going to be a hell of a team to deal with this season. I even think they have a shot in the dark at the AFC Wildcard. Mark Sanchez is going to develop extremely fast and he has some decent weapons around him that I didn't really recognize until recently.
Jacksonville +7 v. Indianapolis - Maurice Jones-Drew is going to run wild on the Colts defense to earn me tons of fantasy points*.
Detroit +13 v. New Orleans - I like the Saint to win the game, but with a 13 point spread I have to take Detroit and hope that Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson are going to keep it close enough.
Dallas -6 v. Tampa bay - Dallas has gotten rid of T.O. and Tony Romo has a chance to finally be the leader of America's Team with a week 1 showdown against the Bucs.
Arizona -7 v. San Francisco - The returning NFC Champs are going to destroy a less than par 49ers team. Although Mike Singletary has improved his team, they aren't ready for this type of competition yet.

NY Giants -7 v. Washington - This rivalry game is going to be very close, but I give the edge to the New York Football Giants on the strength of Brandon Jacobs and Eli's new contract.
St. Louis +8 v. Seattle - Another game where I pick the Seahawks to win the game but the Rams to cover.
Chicago +4 v. Green Bay - Jay Cutler and the Bears Defense are going to be too much for Aaron Rodgers and the Packers to handle.
New England -11 v. Buffalo - I wouldn't actually pick in this game. I don't pick for or against my team, but if I had to, I'd obviously go with the Pats even with an 11 point spread.
Oakland +10 v. San Diego - San Diego for the win, if Seymour shows up, the Raiders defense may have enough in the tank to keep it close enough.
My picks on the left.

So far 6-2 in day games…not so sure that Detroit will cover but they still have enough time left in the game and possession of the ball. I’ll check in again after the 4:15 games.
Broke even at 6-6 after the 4:15 games, rough calls on all of those. Still have three games left.
