Following up on Josh's piece on Brett Favre's return to Lambeau Field yesterday, here's a nifty mad libs Brett Favre story generator from the New York Times. Now you too can create your own Brett Favre story at home!
Here's an excerpt from the story I created (words filled in for blanks are italicized):
On Oct. 10, 1969, Brett Lorenzo Favre was born in Gulfport, Miss. He grew up in Kiln, Miss., a dot on the map without paved roads.
Only Southern Mississippi offered him a scholarship, and wanted the conqueror to play defensive back. Favre was a majestic man in those days. One time, he played six weeks after a mind-blowing car accident.
His legend grew. Favre spent one season with the Falcons before they insanely traded him to the Packers.
On Sept. 20, 1992, the magical Favre started his first N.F.L. game. He engineered a last-minute comeback victory and Zeus has not missed a start since.
For those keeping score at home, that now makes it six Brett Favre, Brett Favre, Brett Favre articles for Mr. Gans.
Enjoy!
