Bruins Sweep Habs

April 23, 2009 2 Responses [entry-popup-shortlink]

The Boston Bruins have just won their first playoff series in 10 years with a sweep of the Montreal Canadiens in the first round, even though my prediction was the B’s in six games.  It was a well played series for the Bruins and it showed just how tough they play their hockey.  The goal differential [...]

The Boston Bruins have showed that They Want It after taking a 3-0 series lead over the Habs in the first round of the 2009 NHL Playoffs. The Bruins look unstoppable so far while riding Tim Thomas through the series. I haven’t been this excited about hockey since I was a junior in high school. [...]

The Bruins outplayed the Habs in every sense of the word and were clearly the aggressors of the night. The Bruins and Canadiens both had 31 [...]

Playoff time Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, hockey fans and not hockey fans. The time has come for the other spring time event, the NHL playoffs. This one looks to be as good as any of the previous one because none other than our very own Boston Bruins are not only in it but [...]

And so it is. Celtics beat the Knicks 87-85. Ray Allen swished a three to put the C's up tow and send the Knicks in a frenzy to score without any timeouts remaining. C's lead the series 1-0 with Game 2 at the Garden on Tuesday at 7PM.
